Hit the road for the annual family vacation, which meant a five hour car ride to Ocean City. Wrote a little something along the way that may feel familiar to anyone traveling with kids in the backseat. Enjoy the bumpy (and loud) ride.

take a nap, that’s a trap.

the one with animal names.
This game is lame.

How many more minutes?
How many more seconds?
I hate that song, love that song,
this is taking too long.
He hit me, who farted?
who’s smarter?
Me or my brother?
Is that a horse? Is that a house?
This is fun. Look, a sign for guns!
We passed two states…
now three. Bumpy bridge.
Weeeee… shit, I gotta pee.
You said the S-word!
Oh…you heard?

Kids, avert your ears.
Can you hold it?

Just passing time.
Is he asleep?
Aww, he’s sweet.
Can I poke him?
This is nice.
Think twice.
He’s awake.
I wanna eat!

Where? The ocean.
