As you can see from the header image, pink is the colour of March for me — blossom in the air and the longer days extending the sunsets into shades between peach and lilac. I’ve had such a lovely month, i’ve spent a lot of time with friends and family. A few weekends ago we drove down to my sister’s birthday drinks with my cousin Erik and his partner; seeing my dad living his best life with a scotch egg and a pint after the mental eighteen months we had following his stroke is unparalleled. From being told he might never eat again after the trache and feeding tubes were installed to where we’re at now feels like a miracle. I went for dinner with my cousins last weekend too, I’m so lucky to have a close relationship with my wider family on his side. Sidenote: we went to Santa Remedio and the menu was very similar to what I ate in Mexico City so that was a nice surprise.

Randomly I’ve been on my skin optimisation grind this month. I got microneedling for the first time, I finally used a voucher Jack’s sister gave me for my 30th. I’m not sure I’m 100% sold on it — don’t get me wrong, I think it does what it says on the tin (boosts collagen production, improves skin texture) but I’m wondering if it would be better value to invest in a treatment that needs to be done less frequently but can achieve the same results, like CO2 laser. Initially I read that three to four sessions would be optimum for seeing microneedling results, but the people with the best results are going close to every month, plus I have questions like: when do you find time to use your retinol between sessions if you have to put it on pause before every treatment? In principle I’m a fan, but logistically and financially I’m unsure.

I’ve also been trying out LED light therapy — Currentbody sent over their series 2 mask which I’ve been using in the mornings before I do my skincare. They sent me a 10% discount code after I posted about it, so in case you’ve been thinking about taking the leap I’ll leave that link here. The code is LMOONCB 🌸

This month has actually been really good for my confidence — while I was vlogging (video coming this weekend!) you can almost see the shift happening where I start to have more security in my voice, production skills and taste. I’ve shared some bits I’ve been working on here, you can subscribe to listen to those 🫶 it’s like buying me a coffee every month (only £4!) and all the money goes straight into helping me produce, mix and release my songs.

I’ve also switched on a lifetime deal where if you sign up with a friend, you get your annual subscription half price — £20! I’ve also shared some bits of the production process on Tiktok if you’re curious ♥️

Ngl I have been rinsing this sweater from Arket for the past two months. The fit is great and being a seawash colour, it goes with everything. Damson Madder also sent me this cute striped top and scarf set, it brings together so many other colours in my wardrobe which I find very helpful!

In an effort to swerve the desire to makeover my entire wardrobe as the seasons change, I decided to switch up my everyday jewellery. I’ve introduced this Sezane link chain and I’ve been layering it with my Monica Vinader pendant and adjustable fine chain, alongside this little gold L charm my friend Alice gave me for my birthday. Finally I’ve added these gorgeous Laura Lombardi hoops into my daily rotation, absolutely love the shape of these.

I have done a lot of listening this month. A random project that a producer I worked with this month put me onto is never enough by b4u. The production is super cool, the sped-up samples pushed to extremes and a surprise heavily distorted lead that comes in at the hook and compliments and challenges the other sounds in equal measure.

I’m going back to Trying Times over and over. Doesn’t Just Happen is my favourite song on the project — I feel like I need some more time for my thoughts to marinate, so watch this space.

I update my Honey playlist with everything I’ve been listening to recently — I’m obsessed with Body right now so if you see it in my 2026 Wrapped then just pretend you didn’t.

Thank you to whoever in my life put me onto the Culture Study podcast, I have rinsed it this month. Every week the host Anne Helen brings on an expert in a particular sociological or culturally relevant topic who answers questions from the audience that might feel a bit niche or in depth. The baby names episode was so interesting.

Really enjoyed this Ho Chi Minh vlog from Christine Le, I love seeing a new city through someone else’s eyes!

Rose Wylie at the RA.

It’s not often that I leave an exhibition already planning when I’m going to see it next, but as I walked down the stairs at the RA after seeing Rose Wylie I was texting Rosianna asking when she was free to come back with me. I love that women artists from Kent are getting their flowers right now, as a Kent girl I love seeing how it informs some of the best work in the country. Rose’s colour choices paired with the scale of her work make for an almost immersive experience, I wish I could have spent more time absorbing them. Fundamentally a lot of the work is fun; I’ve spoken about this elsewhere but I love art where it’s clear women — creators or characters — are enjoying themselves. There’s a social pressure to lead with our trauma but I think portraying joy, hedonism and whimsy is underrated — and sometimes feared, understandably. I love it when a duality exists, or when the creation process feels intuitive and playful, and I really felt that when looking at Rose’s work.
