October 2025 — We traveled around Seoul for 10 days, and thru my Muji sketchbook I captured visual notes, heartfelt memories, and some of the experiences we had. Back in the studio, I scanned all the pages and turned them into a small project. It's a different way to remember in a simplified manner and to share a piece of Korea as seen through my own eyes.
For me, food is the key way to get to know a culture better. Korean food is delicious. It’s honest. It warms your soul. Everything is prepared with a lot of care. I discovered ‘bibimbap’, one of their most iconic dishes, and I loved it: rice, vegetables, meat (or no meat) and their famous red paste. It's a bit spicy.
Art and design are always the centre of our travels. We love to discover new artists, spend hours in museums, and find new and old books.
And the thing we love most is staying in cafès or restaurants and drawing everything we saw that day. We look together at the photos we took, or we draw from memory.
Travelling for us is the best source of inspiration. Each time we go back to our studio, we feel a new energy inside us. It’s good for our mind and for our art.
Thank you for reaching the end!
