I decided to call “Forgotten ideas” all the sketches, ideas (of course) and visual notes that live in my sketchbooks for so long.
I have this problem: I’m fast to think, to imagine, to take note of something. But I’m slow at making all this real, tangible, or at least bringing it outside of my papers. Sometimes, because I blame myself for always searching for perfection; other times, because I just don’t dedicate enough time to personal projects.
These sketches tho, are mainly to note some idea, or a fresh memory. I don’t feel that these are “good enough” to be shared or intended as a final illustration.
And this is a huge block for me.
I’ll try to change all this overthinking and use this substack as a place for posting all this work that lives on paper sheets far away from the sunlight, personal projects and maybe a bit of things happening in our studio? Who knows!
