Last week I revealed the final version of the character sheet; this week let’s take a look at the future physical cards.

There are 2 types of cards: Items and Traits. Both are 2.5x1.75 inches, color-coded, printed on both sides.

Let’s take a look at the item card first.

The front show the Actions or passive abilities granted by items. Name on top, blue color-coded, icons to make them easier to read and a discreet watermark to remember which type of item it is.

The back of the item card has only optional information: a icon reminder of the type, the price in coins (at shops) and examples for what the item could be looking like (the player decides of the cosmetics).

You can note already that there will be only 20 items to play Loop ‘n’ Loot. That being said, I am thinking of expanding the amoung a tiny bit as stretch goals for the crowfunded campaign.

Now let’s look at a trait card:

The front is exactly the same as an item one, except is colored-coded in pink.

The back is exclusively used when a Trait (well, technically, a soul containing a given Trait) is used to transmigrate an item to your next incarnations. There is a reminder of which type of items can be transmigrated on the top half of the card while the bottom part show the bonus given to the transmigrated item.

When you transmigrated an item, simply put the trait card under the item card so the bottom half shows.

You can also notice there will be 123 traits. I do not plan to add more in the core rulebook, even as stretch goals. Supplements and modules will likely have more traits.

These cards will be available at an extra cost. It is not mandatory to use cards, just some extra quality of life. The cards will also avalable for free as print & play material, black & white and Magic: the Gatering size (2.5x3.5 inch).
