When our symptoms fluctuate widely, if we find ourselves in a flare over and over, it’s nearly impossible to make plans. It’s also hard to assess how treatments impact your baseline when you don’t know what that baseline is.
Repeated crashes are out of our control in some major ways, but they’re certainly worsened by “overdoing it.” How can avoid overdoing it, especially when you have spent a life meeting goals by pushing?
It requires intention, practice, and a workflow designed especially for your current season of life.
In this hour-long workshop, we started designing that workflow. We got real, and asked ourselves some important questions—like why we insist on pushing past our limits with non-urgent tasks (Do you have to sweep the kitchen right now? Like, right now? What does it mean about you if you don’t?).
We also brainstormed solutions using well-researched productivity tools personalized to our needs. The goal is to start designing a life that works for each of us.
Watch and rewatch to run through the process at your own pace. Let me know which steps you already use, and which you might implement next.
