🚇 Delays this morning on the Central, Circle and Piccadilly lines. The Overground Mildmay line is also facing ‘severe delays’ between CJ and Willesden Junction (due to an earlier faulty train at Shepherd’s Bush). - Get live TfL updates here.

🚈 The Overground Weaver Line will close for two weekends in September for engineering works. - More details in the Waltham Forest Echo.

• LNER passengers are being warned that some train services will be effected on Sunday and Monday, with no trains running between King's Cross and Peterborough. - More details from Tannur Anders in the Mirror.

🚎 The the four-day bus strike in north London continues today and is due to carry on until Friday. Further driver strikes are planned on eight occasions in September and October. - Joanna Partridge, The Guardian.

🚨 A murder hunt is underway in Wembley after a young man was stabbed to death at Brent Civic Centre. - The Met Police published this update.

• The Civic Centre and Wembley Library remain closed this morning due to the crime scene. Council leader Muhammed Butt issued a statement, saying: “Brent has been shaken by an appalling and deeply tragic incident at the Civic Centre, in which a person has lost their life. Our thoughts are first and foremost with the victim, their family and loved ones, as well as the staff, residents and visitors who witnessed what happened.”

• Police Superintendent Chris Clarke added: “An investigation is underway to establish exactly what has taken place and trace those responsible. We recognise the concern this incident will cause within the local community and are committed to keeping residents informed as our enquiries progress. In light of the incident, we have authorised additional stop and search powers to help prevent further violence, support our investigation, and keep people safe.”
