You love art. You love getting lost in the details. You scrutinise every brush stroke, every curve on a sculpture, every hidden detail, even the way something has been hung.

But… are you actively looking before you walk in the gallery?

Each Friday morning you’ll find a photo of a London gallery entrance in your inbox. The signs and any revealing details have been removed. Do you still recognise it?

The door to this gallery is hidden from the street via a small alley that’s hard to find.

Go on… have a guess!

The answer will be in next week’s newsletter.

Last week’s challenge certainly looks like a firestation, and the one that forms part of the SLG does indeed have it’s own zebra crossing, but the correct answer is The Showroom, located at 63 Penfold St, NW8 8PQ. This not-for-profit contemporary art gallery has been a pioneer of socially engaged art practice for over 40 years and is known for it’s deep commitment to collaboration between artists and participants from the local community. Speaking of which, if you’ve never been then why not stop by their Summer Party celebration for food, music and performance on Sat 15 Aug from 13:30-17:00. Free and open to all!
