“Don’t Look Up” Every time I watch the media I am reminded of the 2021 movie “Don’t Look Up”. Media depictions in this movie are what we have experienced since Trump announced his candidacy in 2001

Normalizing the disaster that is MAGA is the same as minimizing a huge asteroid tumbling towards earth from outer space. In our current political reality our democracy is under a slower version of extinction. The media is tastefully programmed to kindly remind us “everything” is normal. Threats to our very lives and our democracy are hyperbole.

We can and must vote like it’s our last chance to save us all. Trust what you see and hear. We are experiencing a hostile take over by fascists who have no regard for our freedoms, values and our lives. We know this because it happened in WWII. Read while you still can and don’t believe the media clowns. Register to vote, vote for Kamala and every other Blue candidate. Vote for human rights for us and do not relinquish our rights and our families rights to oligarchs. Hope has been strong for the last week. Make it stronger. Talk, think, believe in democracy for EVERYONE of us.
