The Liz List, vol. 45

Good morning from my hoooomeeee! We landed late last night and I don’t think I moved in my sleep. I love our summers in the Midwest but gosh there is no place like home. I popped out of bed, tip toed downstairs so the kids wouldn’t hear me and was so excited to make my cup of coffee. You know when your body is so excited about a moment and you get those little giddy shivers of joy?! That’s me right now. Giddy shivers of joy are something I want to discover more of!

I have Kindergarten orientation for George this morning!! My last kindergartener :( This year is going to be a good year for us. Everything will feel generally familiar for my kids (aside from new teachers!) and it is the last year all of my kids will be in elementary school together. Charlie is in 5th grade! HOW do I have a 5th grader! It feels like he was just born. I love being an elementary school mom, it is truly such a joyous time of life. We start school on Tuesday so this weekend is our last summer hurrah! I can’t wait. If you have kids, when do they start? Are you ready?!

1. These leopard flats remind me so much of the Prada ones on my wish list - but 1/2 the price.

2. Everyones favorite poplin pants are back and coming in two new bandana colors - do I grab the brown or red?! Sign up for the launch next week because they will fly.

3. I love this snail charm which is a nod to slowing down and moving with intention. Exactly what I need as a reminder after returning home after a summer away in Wisconsin.

4. I love a barrel sweat and I can’t believe these are only $40.

5. This blue suede bag is the perfect size and color and price, adding to cart.

7. My favorite scar stick came out in a jumbo size which is going to be a necessity in the Adams household.

8. These shorts are a mom MVP and I am loving the new heather grey.

9. I am excited to get back into a routine once my kids start school next week! Already grabbing some new workout pieces to help me get motivated. These leggings, this white tank with this sweatshirt are new go-tos.

10. Obsessed with this poppy/light blue striped tote. And do I need the matching raffia flats?!

11. My girlfriend told me this new lightweight mascara is the best she has tried for volume. I ordered on the spot! I also added my favorite blush in the shade “Cheeky.”

12. Salomons are all the rage right now and I am particularly loving this style since they feel like a sneaker I would wear a lot. And how cute are the colors?!

14. My favorite jean that I wore SO much at the lake just came out in two new colors. Love this dark denim and the tan! I would size down one.

15. I need a Fall event on my calendar to wear this dreamy suede green dress to.

16. Can you tell I am so excited to wear suede???? This mini skirt is perfect for those who want to incorporate fall but you live in the heat!!

17. Hill House launced a great collection this week that gave us a little bit of cooler weather vibes that I am excited to dress for. I loved these pants and this jacket.

18. I wore these jeans to the Cubs game and they are so comfortable. These would be a jean I would wear for flights, they are so good.

19. I was so sad to read the news that Kule is closing. I have been a long time fan of theirs for so long and have so many pieces I will forever cherish! The website is all on sale and you have to grab this bag if you are a boy mom.

20. I learned how to needlepoint this summer! My girlfriend has a store in Chicago you have to go to if you are in the area called Velvet Stitch House. My mom used to always make little pillows growing up and I am going to order this canvas to make my own! I saw this cute Chicago hat online too that I have to tackle next (for my boys’ room!).
