Al-Anon Family Groups - Janina

Janina returns to Living Free in this episode to chat about long-term recovery in Al-Anon. Janina grew up in an unpredictable household dominated by her parents' alcoholism, mental illness and trauma. Having experienced several forms of violence she found she had to confront her own trauma and anger in order to live a peaceful, fulfilling life.  Practising the 12 Steps and supporting others to do so has been a long term journey of self-understanding, acceptance of the past, and service to others.
