Jamaica Appeal Update

We’re about to hit our goal of $12,000, and so GoFundMe has increased our goal to $14,000!

And now there’s ninety of you wonderful people. I just can’t believe it.

One or two of you have donated not once but TWICE. This is incredible to me. I really am floored.

And so many of you are not known to me at all. Truly, this is kindness, at planet scale. I write about this stuff. It’s amazing to see how it can come true.

The tiniest donation is as meaningful as the biggest. Some of you I know don’t have much, but you donated anyway. This is so righteous. I am forever in your debt.

If you can’t donate again, you can always SHARE this appeal. It looks like it’s getting out there on social media, despite the fact that I’m totally dead there, aside from Patreon and Substack, which are for subscribers.

So please do what you can, keep going! There’s still no power or water. Treena and I have a plan to buy some solar powered generators. This would be very practical since I’m afraid it’s likely that more terrible conditions will hit the Caribbean from now on.

We live in the nicest neighborhood. Some lovely neighbors in our neighborhood have been donating and some of them have stopped by with cards and kind messages. Thank you thank you so much.
