Liturgy of the Hours Retreat

I want to let our Substack readers and subscribers know about our Vox Sponsae Liturgy of the Hours Retreat at the St. Thomas More House of Prayer coming up September 25-27th.

The name of the retreat (as with the name of this Substack) comes from Blessed Columba Marmion who refers to the Divine Office as the “Vox Sponsae” or “Voice of the Bride” that delights the Bridegroom. The retreat consists of praying each of the canonical Hours in common in our beautiful chapel, conferences on the history and the theology of the Liturgy of the Hours, a workshop on how to pray with the Breviary, and an introduction to chanting the Psalms.

As far as I know, this is a one-of-a-kind retreat experience! You will come away not only knowing more about the Church’s prayer. You will be inspired to make it the foundation of your prayer life and share it with as many people as you can.
