Friday, July 10, 6:30pm gates open// Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, The Woodlands

A whole night of free fun for Encanto fans! Gates open at 6:30 with pre-show activities in the plazas — games, crafts and family-friendly fun! At 7:30, enjoy a colorful performance by local Ballet Folklórico group Mixteco Ballet Folkorico!, bringing the traditions, rhythms, and storytelling of Mexican dance to life on the Main Stage followed by a screening of Disney’s Encanto on the big screens — a story full of heart, family, and unforgettable songs. Bring your blankets, grab a spot on the lawn, and enjoy a movie under the stars with National Treasure. Free popcorn too, details here.

Saturday, July 11 & Sunday, July 12// East Beach, 1923 Apffel Rd, Galveston

On Saturdays and Sundays through Labor Day, see what makes Galveston’s shoreline one of a kind with a free Bucket Brigade tour at East Beach. These 45-minute interpretive tours offer a hands-on look at coastal ecosystems—from the role of sargassum and turbid water to the effects of marine debris and pollution. Tours are interactive, family-friendly, and open to all ages. Sign up in advance to reserve your spot! Tours last about 45 minutes, and are offered at:
