We love the movie and even have the Tonie version, but this classic has been our evening read-aloud lately and a big hit with both kids. It is definitely more detailed than the Tonie, and always funny. Note: the text of this book definitely includes some unnecessary insults from the baddie characters, like stupid/nasty etc. I usually leave them out when I’m reading to the kids. Just FYI!
