Take time out to enjoy some hands-on experience with our market gardener and permaculture teacher, Andrew Jordan in the Lisnavagh Walled Garden where you will discover the methods used for crop management, sowing for winter season and how to deal with gluts of produce and more.
Join us on Saturday, 29th August! Together you'll explore how we manage crops throughout the year, prepare for the winter growing season through timely sowing, and discover creative ways to make the most of periods of abundance when the garden produces more than you can use 😋
Along the way, there will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions, get your hands in the soil, and gain ideas you can take home and apply in your own growing space.
As always at Lisnavagh, the day is as much about slowing down and enjoying the surroundings as it is about learning.
After the workshop you'll share a delicious vegetarian mezze lunch, made with fresh seasonal ingredients, and have time to wander through the gardens and woodlands, taking in the peace and beauty of the estate.
