Hello, how are you?
It’s been a busy one here, BUT, the sun has been out today in London Town, and it even got a bit warm earlier. An ice-cream van was on the loose!
Here’s a mid-week challenge for you. The ice-cream challenge non the less, by way of…
Select a tool or two (I used a fine liner and some oil pastels, maybe a Posca pen in there too) it really doesn’t matter what.
Think hard about your favourite ice-cream flavours.
Fold your paper into 6 equal (ish) sections. The aim is to draw the same ice-cream 6 times, one in each section. Here’s the important bit:
For the first time take 1 minute, then 50 seconds, 40 seconds, 30 seconds, 20 seconds, 10 seconds.
Let me know how you get on. And your favourite flavour of course!
A brand new way of selling my original pictures & paintings. A small batch at a time on a first come first served type effort.
Tried and tested just before Christmas, I really enjoyed putting these mini collections together.
Here’s a peek at the first batch which will be featured in my shop and here on Substack on Friday morning. Eeep!
These are all original one off pieces. From glassy swimmers to ‘back-of-an-envelope’ doodles, collage, sketches & paintings too. Straight from my drawing board to you.
Stay tuned!
Happy Wednesday,
Thank you for reading. This post is public so please feel free to share it. Lisa x
