Fire Returns, Clarity Follows

Fire takes the wheel, and the fog starts to clear.

Two big shifts landed back to back this week, and together they mark one of the more welcome turning points of the summer.

🦁 On July 22, the Sun moved into Leo.

After weeks of Cancer season asking us to feel everything, hold space for our own tenderness, and sit with what’s beneath the surface, Leo arrives like a match being struck. This is fire energy. Bold, warm, unapologetic. The Sun in Leo doesn’t ask you to shrink or soften. It asks you to show up. To create. To be seen. To remember that joy is not frivolous, it’s fuel.

🧘🏻 If the first half of July felt heavy or emotionally saturated, Leo season is your exhale. It’s permission to be a little more playful, a little more visible, a little more yourself, out loud.

🪐 Today, July 23, Mercury stations direct at 16° Cancer, officially ending the retrograde cycle that began back on June 29. This one had a distinctly emotional flavor. Miscommunications that hit close to home. Old feelings resurfacing in conversations you thought were long settled. A pull to revisit, reflect, and reconsider before moving forward again.

🌫️ Mercury going direct doesn’t mean everything instantly resolves. Think of it less like a light switch and more like a slow turn, the kind where the ship starts moving the right way again but the wake behind it is still settling. Give yourself through early August for that shadow period to fully clear before you sign anything major or make big calls. But the sense of being stuck in a loop, the foggy indecision, the conversations that kept circling without landing? That starts to lift now.

💡 What’s beautiful is how these two shifts talk to each other. Mercury direct brings the clarity. Leo season brings the courage to actually act on it. First you see it clearly. Then you get to walk toward it boldly.
