The ones that hold her keys, her wallet and lip gloss The loves she lost The baby she lost The time she lost The selves she lost The friends she misses The people she buried. Cough drops, Band-Aids and Kleenex Cheese sticks, nuts Water bottle, sunscreen From the time before you From the hours when you are gone Ticket stubs, restaurant receipts From the moments she wants to remember, Because this love for you is all-consuming And she can’t let herself disappear.
