“It is important to know what one should not want, but one must know it with revulsion and with strength.” Instead, we’re constantly hurling ourselves, with all our strength, towards everything we should find repulsive. (The quotation is from Canetti discussing Karl Kraus, but us barely read and unfocused can still suck from it.)
Only you know how compromised your entire life has been. A while back, an uncle chastised me from Virginia, where he’s worked, commuted, mowed the lawn and watched TV for half a century. Disturbed by my supposed anti-Americanism, he asked, “Has any other nation given you even one penny?” Actually, several have, but that’s not the point. Unlike my uncle, we shouldn’t go along with anyone who pays us. That’s called being a mercenary, mio zio! As for being anti-American, nearly all of us have benefited the USA more, or at least harm it much less, than Jewjerked Trump, Hegseth, Lindsey Graham, Bessent, Biden, Hung Cao and just about everybody else inside the DC Beltway. Anyone who enlisted in the American military, for decades now, has only volunteered to wreck the USA, for they’re simply mercenaries for Jews and war profiteers. Of course, those categories are nearly identical.
