August is devoted and dedicated to unpacking and examining the Judgment card here on No Bad Cards! I hope it serves you!
August is Eclipse season, and (in my humble opinion) there is no better time to unpack and examine the Judgment card, a card whose natural cadence, invitation, and presence is the closest equivalent to Eclipse energy in the Tarot.
Judgment is ruled by Pluto, which connects it to Scorpio, and more distantly, to Aries.
Judgment is an excavator, a revealer of buried or hidden secrets and truths, just like the Eclipses. Nothing stays out of sight for long when under the eye of the Judgment card — again, just like Eclipses. But we don’t need to be afraid of it.
It sounds obvious, or perhaps a little unnecessary to state this, but Judgment isn’t The Tower. It will, on the most rare of occasions, horrify, shock, and force our eyes open before we were ready to take in the information. But for the most part, like it’s Plutonian influence, it is very slow, moving in spirals and layers. The Tower doesn’t always come into our lives in a startling way, but it has more of a reputation for that kind of presence than Judgment does.
