Today’s the day! Rewrite the Stars is officially out in the world, which means you can finally meet Marissa, Jesse, and the rest of the gang. I hope you’ll love these characters as much as I do, and I can’t wait to hear what you think of their story!
Every book is different, and while I’m incredibly proud of how this one turned out, it was also the hardest for me to write because of how deeply personal it is. Marissa’s journey as an autism mom was inspired by my own experiences, and it was so important to me that her story was portrayed with honesty, authenticity, and compassion. In many ways, this book is a love letter to other moms, so I hope it feels like a warm hug and a reminder that you’re seen, appreciated, and, most importantly, never alone.
