For most of my life, if you walked into a church on Sunday morning, you could count on one thing: there would probably be more women than men.

Last week, All Your Life officially released into the world, and after all the writing, rewriting, editing, planning, and talking about this book, it feels a little surreal to say that.

It’s launch week.

It’s when you don’t feel like trusting God’s promises that you have to trust God’s promises. It’s easy to trust God on the good days, when I’m at a worship service at church with arms held high singing at the top of my lungs. I can’t keep count of how many times I’ve stood up to proclaim God’s word and remind audiences that God is good, that He is faithful, that His promises never fail.
