A week ago I put up a poll: which guide do you want next? Four options. The Personal Assistant Fleet ran away with it: 55% of you, more than image-gen, audio, and Remotion *combined*.

Here’s what it actually is.

Most people use Claude like a chat window, open it, ask a thing, close it.

The fleet is the opposite. It’s a colleague that never closes. One always-on machine, one orchestrator that wakes itself every 30 minutes, looks around, and either tells you something or just does the work. It remembers across sessions. It texts you when something needs you and stays quiet when nothing does. (it will even write guides for you…) And when one agent isn’t enough, you spin up another: its own session, its own lane, writing back to a shared board the orchestrator reads.

Bonus: It all works with your claude subscription.

None of this is magic. It’s a stack of small primitives, a heartbeat, a memory store, a message board, a phone channel, and the “fleet” is just what you get when they start stacking. The guide walks the whole thing, copy-paste: the orchestrator’s standing instructions, the /checkin skill that is its heartbeat, the Telegram wire-up, and a starter you can paste and run in about 20 minutes. It bootstraps its own home on the first run.

Mine runs my whole operation now: reads my Slack, preps my mornings, tracks my to-dos, surfaces the stuff I’d otherwise miss. Yours can start as one orchestrator and grow from there.
