Today I was feeling creative and after spending all weekend scrolling marketplace I decided to start throwing in some mood-board Mondays as well. Sometimes I don’t have it in me to deep dive marketplace. So today you get both as I start branching out. The mood-board, and the secondhand finds.
Starting with the mood-board. It’s the middle of July and nothing screams summer like the beach to me. I am finding myself drawn to all things nautical. I would say that’s pretty normal to me and isn’t seasonally dependent, but it feels more appropriate in July. I grew up on the east coast so to me summers feel like the Carolinas, Delaware, and small little quirky beach tchotchkes. The board feels like movement, texture, fun, expression, bold, and soft at the same time.
Now to the Marketplace finds. I’m not going to lie. these are just things I found this weekend that I thought were cool near me.
As you might be able to tell from the finds, I would say this week I am feeling more funky and playful rather than literal. More creative. I wonder if something is happening astrologically because I feel ready to play.
