This is how our class works.

It’s my birthday, and I have to say… it’s been a really good one.

I got to meet some of our Like a Korean students here in the city. And honestly? It reminded me why I do this. Such kind, genuine people. I left that meetup feeling really happy.

Okay. June is coming up fast, and I have a lot I want to share with you.

I want to tell you how our class is going to work. This is what I have in mind — but I also want to hear from you. If something doesn’t make sense or you think there’s a better way, tell me. I mean it.

But first — want to see what our Zoom class actually looks like?

Okay. Here’s the plan.

Part 1: Vocabulary

Each class, we learn 6 to 10 words. Not random words — the ones you’ll actually use. I’ll give you vocabulary sheets with pictures, and after class you can review through Quizlet. By the end of the course, you’ll have picked up around 70 words. Almost without noticing.

Part 2: Grammar

Every class, we cover one grammar point. But here’s the thing — we don’t just study it. We use it. Transformation drills, sentence building, real conversation practice. And on the last day, we review everything together.

Now, I want to be honest about something.

The goals I set are not obligations. Everyone learns at a different pace. Some of you have demanding jobs. Some of you have kids. Some of you just like to take your time. And that’s completely fine. All classes are recorded. Assignments can be adjusted. Just do what you can, every day. That’s all I ask.

Part 3: Conversation

Every class comes with a dialogue. Practical sentences, organized into a mini drama format so it stays interesting. The intermediate drama is still being written — but once it’s ready, I’ll share the full LAK drama series from level 1. Learning through scripts built around words and grammar you already know. I really think it helps.

Part 4: Assignments and feedback

At the end of each class, there’s an assignment. Something practical — so you can check whether things actually clicked. And I give personal feedback on every single one. Not just a check mark. Real notes.

That’s the plan.
