A strange boy travels a large world in search of "the Light", while making friends and enemies along the way, and finding out that life isn't just about pursuing goals.
Salt: "M'kay, we could go to the human town down south, or to the hyena town." Lacreen: "I think we should go to the hyena town, it sounds neat!" Salt: "Lacreen, just because it's 'neat' doesn't mean-" Stone: "Actually, I agree with Lacreen. It seems more direct, if a bit farther." Salt: "...Fine. Makes sense."
Lacreen: "Oh thank you! Thank you thank you! I promise I won't be too much trouble!" Salt: "Yeah, sure, no trouble..." (Gonna have to keep an eye on her...) Stone: "M'kay, now then, Salt, where do we go now?" Salt: "Oh yeah! Lemme check the map really quick..."
Lacreen: "Hey boys! I was thinking about coming with you two." Stone: "Oh, really?" Salt: "Why?" Lacreen: Well, I figure it'd be safer for me to travel with you two, at least for the time being..." Salt: "Makes sense... However, I say-" Stone: "You can come with us. You need help, and that's just what we'll do."

Lacreen's mom: "But why are you back home? I thought you were on your way to the other fox town, to meet your friends." Lacreen: "Well, I... I was... But then... I... I ran into a... An assassin..." Lacreen's mom: "WHAT!? An assassin!? Who-!? Wha-!? Why-!? Are you alright!?"
The next day, Fod, a fox town, Lacreen's home. She wanted to talk to her mom, and told us to wait for some reason. Lacreen: "Hey mom!" (In Fox) Lacreen's mom: "Oh, Lacreen-dear! Hello sweetie!" (In Fox) Lacreen's mom: "How've you been, my love?" (In Fox) Lacreen: "I've been good, Mom."
Lacreen: "Though... The Light has to be very far away, if reachable at all... Why travel so much?" Stone: "Why travel so much...? I... Uh... I'm not... really sure why..." Lacreen: "...Well, I won't push you on it. Still sounds like fun!"
That evening Lacreen: "So um... Why are you two headed to Fod anyway?" Salt: "It's none of your busi-" Stone: "We're actually looking for the Light, and Fod's on the way. It's our first stop." Lacreen: "Oh my, the Light himself, must be quite the undertaking!"
Stone: "You can come with us." Lacreen: "Oh thank you! Thank you so much!" Stone: "By the way, what's your name?" Lacreen: "Oh yes, Lacreen's the name!" Stone: "M'kay, let's go." Lacreen: "Yay!" Salt: "..."
Salt: "I don't think it's a good idea to have a fox around, especially if she has a target on her back! It'd bring bad attention!" Stone: "Salt, come on, we literally just saved her! And it's only until we get to Fod." Salt: "...You know what, fine, since it's on the way."
Lacreen: "I can't thank you enough, if it isn't too much trouble, could I ask you boys to help me get back to Fod? I should probably be home for some time..." Stone: "Oh, if you need help, then sur-" Salt: "Stone! Wait!"
