Samantha Clark · The Life Boat

Hello friends

To mark the summer Solstice this weekend, I’m releasing a selection of small and medium sized paintings, available directly from my studio. You can browse the collection in the online viewing room at the link below. I hope you enjoy them!

If you’re a regular reader of The Life Boat, you’ll know something of the place these paintings are coming from, of the northerly islands that have shaped their making, of the boisterous energies of the wind, sea and sky that infuse them, because I write about them often here.

Weather incoming…

Meanwhile, here’s a wee glimpse of the new paintings I’m working on at the moment. These won’t be leaving my studio for a long time yet.

a few things I'm working on in the studio just now

Come and join me in the studio while I plod on with the new paintings. You are welcome our creative co-working session every Wednesday from 3 pm to 4.30 pm UK time. It’s very simple. We say hello, share what we’ll be working on, then leave our cameras on and work together in quiet companionship for an hour, then sign off with a quick check-in chat. That’s it! If you miss a session or can’t make it live, a recording is usually made available to paid subscribers (though not this week as I was away.) You can find them in the subscriber chat HERE.

Until next week,

Sam

Go on. You know you want to…
