How do I quantify this one? Born from fever dreams and old passions, it’s the most creatively liberating work I’ve ever allowed myself to make in comic form. It’s a mystery, a freeform act of self-expression, and still (I hope) a grand adventure comic. It owes debts to Bill Sienkiewicz, David McKean, Moebius, Roger Dean, and many more of my heroes. It’s also in the stores today.

This one won’t break any records for sales. How could it? But I believe those that give this series a chance will be rewarded. And to those diehards that stick with me through thick and thin - this one’s for you, with all the love and creative passion I can muster.
