Hi chat! Happy Wednesday. My coconut milk has been entirely thrown off so I apologize for the delays in newsies and posting. My building is currently under construction and this week they’re in my actual unit but it’s causing all types of chaos. I am sequestered to my bedroom with Choco, they cut internet, the water is off. Thank goodness I went to morning Pilates and showered asap yesterday because things are bleak over here at Chez Niko.
But all will be well and two things happened in missing Monday mornings Conversation Starters: 1. I felt anxious like I was skipping work – so that’s a good indicator that I’m taking this seriously and this is the business now. 2. I realized that nobody missed the newsies, and even though I can see the open rates and engagement, I didn’t get any messages about it.
That caused me to reflect on whether or not the newsletter is the right medium for me and if I could be channeling my daily energy into something else more valuable. They say to give a project 90 days and then reassess and we’ve been doing this for well over that, so maybe just maybe it’s time to think about what an evolution of the newsletter would be.
A conversation starter to have with myself.
