11-January-2026 was World Sketchnote day. A day to celebrate, practice, share, and spread awareness about this amazing visual thinking skill.
For me personally sketchnoting has been life changing as I moved from taking long form text only notes to something that allows me to connect the dots. And draw patterns that lead to insights.
Well not all of my notes have visuals, but they are structured in a way that brings dynamism.
We celebrated this day as part of weekly warmup sessions that I do every Sunday.
I shared the story about this day, how it came into being and laid down few prompts to sketchnote during the session.
This was one of the quietest weekly warmup session as everyone was heads down sketchnoting.

During the session we committed to sharing the sketchnotes on social media and tagging each other to increase the reach of this skill.
