What do you do with kids playing with intelligence bombs? - Protect them from themselves
at least until they grow up and they have the wisdom to use the intelligence explosion to do good

I'm going to start imagining frontier AI developers as children building a bomb. It's dangerous for everyone, including them. They're not evil, but they're doing something pretty stupid and they need to be stopped immediately.
