That visit you’ve been longing for…..the one you’ve imagined over and over again.
One of the deepest longings in grief is not simply to remember the person we love, but to feel connected to them again. While we can’t change the reality of their absence, we can continue to create meaningful moments that allow love, memory, and ongoing connection to remain an active part of our lives.
As a small thank you to my paid subscribers (whose support makes this work possible), I’m sharing one of the guided visualizations from my Widow Rebuild Course. In this gentle exercise, you’ll be guided through an imagined visit with your loved one- a chance to say what has been left unsaid, ask the questions you’ve been carrying, share a quiet moment together, and experience the enduring bond that grief can never take away.
(If you’ve been thinking about becoming a paid subscriber, I’d love to wlecome you. Along with essays like this one, you’ll receive exclusive guided practices, reflections, and resources designed to help you navigate grief with greater compassion, connection, and hope.)
