I'm back!

I am appalled at the uniparty’s treatment of the genocide in Gaza — and how the U.S. electorate is allowing the spectacle of the recent conventions to draw attention away from the on-going genocide. Every day, the news from Gaza and the West Bank squashes my stomach to bits — and every day, I have to pick myself up and continue. How in the world is USrael allowed to get away with their daily atrocities? I have friends in and from Palestine and I worry about them constantly. I know I am far from the only one. Vigils, letters and visits to the U.S. Congress, independent campaigns (Green Party, primarily) for US Congress, US Senate and US President, articles on other people’s blogs, participation in regular livestreams on this issue for almost 2 years now — and still the tanks, the guns, the bombs, the thirst and the starvation continue in Gaza — and the number of civilians killed continue to mount. And USrael continues with impunity. And the gall, the consummate gall, of Kamala Harris and Tim Walz to talk about “Joy and Love” in the middle of horrible atrocities being committed in Gaza and with the Biden-Harris administration continuing to supply Israel with weapons and with money to continue to the job. I am tired of yelling into the ether, so will turn my sights back to this Substack page — and write regularly. I know I must.
