For this fiftieth edition of Les Édits Privés, I wanted to offer you something a little different. After almost a year of meeting here every week (with capsules, silhouettes, methods, and small style principles), I felt like opening another door: the one to my current obsessions. The details I notice, keep in mind, and suddenly find very right, very desirable, very chic.
A more personal Édit, a more visual one, almost like a summer notebook. Less a complete formula than a selection of things seen, searched for, loved, and quietly kept aside during my long hours of research. A small collection of what, to my eye, gives summer style its allure. Some belong to holidays, summer houses, and very hot afternoons. Others can slip into a city wardrobe, quietly, like a small change of light.
At the end of this Édit, I have added a short anonymous poll so you can tell me whether you like this more visual, more curated format, or whether you prefer the more classic Les Édits Privés format, with a nine-piece capsule and five complete looks.
Here, then, are the ten things I find très chic this summer.
This Édit is reserved for subscribers of Les Édits Privés. Everything that follows (the notes, selections, and small style observations) is shared only here, in this more private room of Léonce Chenal. Thank you, sincerely, for supporting this weekly rendezvous, and with it, the wider world of Léonce Chenal as it continues to grow with care, independence, and attention.
