I’ve been talking recently in Notes about relationships and how allowance can help with its ups and downs. But especially about discerning, filtering and appreciating the signs of a healthy relationship. More lately, these Notes have been focusing on the ending of relationships and how it can leave us.
I’ve been wanting to post a particular song for some time, and now seems a good time because it’s about that very thing.
It laments someone left crestfallen, disconsolate and crushed. Yet still endeavouring to be philosophical over a meaningful yet ultimately destructive and potentially devastating love affair.
It’s called “Is This What Love Becomes?”, which I wrote some years ago for a self-penned musical.
WARNING: It’s a slow burn and may take a few listens to ‘get’ the music.
I hope you like it,
Leo 💚
