Hope you’re hanging in ok in this topsy-turvy world!

I enjoyed seeing Canada win against Qatar in the world cup yesterday! What a wild game, its beautiful to see the diversity that makes up our National Team, Canada truly is a beautiful mosaic of culture. I watched the game and thought about all of those players and what it takes to get to that level of play, the stories of how their families came other Canada, some not that long ago, looking for a better life. I think about Alphonso Davies and his family coming to Canada as refugees from war torn Ghana now they get to see their son representing their adopted Country. It’s very touching.

I felt compelled to make you something today, here’s the story of and a live performance of “Bangor” from the new album Pilgrimage, out now!
