I tried TS2 on my phone today and realized that Extender didn’t quite work under Wine out of the box, so if you’re a linux player the latest update on GitHub should work for you now :)

Hello kittens I’ve updated TS2 Extender to fix pink flashing, courtesy of spockthewok , and there are also now a ton of new scripting features allowing for things like interaction injection, UI editing, etc. etc. There is a website that documents all the new Lua stuff. Download

working on a custom ui system, so modders can bring up dialogues with custom ui scripts without replacing the originals. here is a modded resurrection dialogue - the original one still works as its own thing!

one of my goals is to sort of unofficially patch ts2 with fixes and improvements which is why i made the previous poll, the fact that EA gave us 2 versions of the game and neither is a true definitive one sucks lol. i mostly focus on legacy nowadays bc it’s the most accessible version of the game, but i will consider porting stuff to UC / Original as i go as well.

Also in the loong list of new issues with TS2, SIms now absolutely refuse to switch to their work uniform in OFB businesses. Wanted to see if they had done anything about the bug where sims faces would reset but can’t get them to switch at all, bummer!
