If you’re in a helping profession, you already know this tension: the work is relational. It’s felt. It’s present, in-the-room, human-to-human — and somewhere along the way, you also became the person responsible for content calendars, email funnels, intake systems, and a marketing plan you never trained for.

So when someone says “use AI,” something in you tightens. Understandably. It can feel like one more system asking you to be less human in a field that’s supposed to be about more of it.

Here’s the reframe that changed how I think about this: AI isn’t competing with the human part of your work. Used well, it’s what protects it. It can hold the operational weight — the strategy, the systems, the stuff that drains you before your first client even walks in — so you get to stay fully present for the part only you can do.

That’s exactly what I got into with Jameca Little, marketing and AI strategist and founder of Suite101.AI. Jameca spent 15+ years in the agency world — including luxury brand work with LVMH and Moët Hennessy — before building a fractional-CMO approach specifically for med spa and salon owners ready for their next level. She’s known for going boots-on-the-ground with her clients, literally sitting at the front desk before she ever touches a marketing plan.

Jameca and I talked about all of it:

  • Why she treats AI as a strategist to think with, not a machine to generate content from

  • The 6-7 areas most business owners aren’t even thinking to look at

  • Building a “strategic GPT” that acts like a 24/7 CMO, so the humans in the business get to stay focused on the client in front of them

  • How to use the second half of the year to actually finish strong instead of just coasting into fall

This one’s for you if you’ve ever felt like you’re holding your business together with pieced-together systems, wearing every hat, and wondering if there’s a way to bring it all into alignment without losing the human heart of what you do.
