Get Recos From Your Girlfriends, Sharing is an Act of Love

Over the past few weeks, I have come to realise I just love to wear the same things as my friends, and equally when they get what I wear. I just find it so refreshing to share, and to honestly chat through products with them - especially when one is asking “love this where is it from” and just openly, care freely, being happy to let your loved one (ie: your friend) know about what you ve been loving.

At the breakfast table during a recent work trip, we talked extensively about nuisette, night gown, french old lace items, and then back in Ldn it was a topic again at two events. So here is what I have been looking at for lace top, or nuisette / night gowns look and feel dressing.

It was said around that breakfast, that Doen was championing the look and feel of effortless from bed to market, and I would agree. Some mentioned Zara Home as well, was doing impeccable nuisette for days :)

I walked into this shop the other day for bed linen for the kids, and found a corder full of dresses. So sharing here.

Also, my neighbour at this jewellery diner was wearing a top (This one) and basically explaining how good it has been, to wear constantly, under sweater and under shirts, with skirts, shorts and jeans. Since then bought (and happily told her she had influenced me) - then i went into a deep dive of all types of caraco, tank, lacy feel and here are my findings.

Then at the Hunza G pop up, another friend mentioned she loved wearing night gown for evenings, and shared her latest purchases which is from the same brand as the top above, so inevitably went online and start hunting it down.

She looked stunning in that dress !!

If you like the whole “just waking up and going” feel, you ll love tricking everyone into staying (or wearing) a night gown, or nuisette top for your day or evening in the city.

I think the whole thing started a very long time ago for me actually, when I saw my mom wearing these vintage dresses to the beach in ile de re. Since then we collect the ones, and share tips on how to find them at brocante.

My point, is, it’s so fun, and so cool to wear the same things as your friends. I never stop to ask them what they have seen lately, what they have done or been wearing, as I truly believe that an act of love is to share all, without gatekeeping your recent findings.

Another item we have been speaking a lot about lately is the sponge feel on rtw as I wore a Chloe Dress to a summer evening which triggered conversation post it.

That was this dress that my friend F was texted about, and then later C (as we rode in a taxi together) decided to purchase too. Made me so happy, that my friends loved what I wore.

So on other items spongy I have been looking at lately, La Veste has launched a few years ago these towel feel rtw pieces, which are perfect for beach and market.

Also I had screenshot this because Oli has launched anklets, and your summer can now officialy start. The brand has launched lots of different necklaces I wear summer and winter, and seeing anklets added to her offer is just a natural evolution for the Summer coming up. I particularly love the droplets. and this longer version, which I believe is very new too.

Ah, also, sorry, early train to Paris so my ideas are flying are by no mean organised (are they ever?) Lido has launched in collaboration with Net a Porter a great exclusive of a Hawain print, which makes me think of the camp edit Jcrew launched earlier this month.

I just would love everyone to treat Summer like camp, fun, games, kind, and most importantly, presence. Just be here, now.
