A year ago, I posted about writing my LitRPG serial, Honey, I’ve Leveled the Kids which grew and grew. After another rewrite and edits, the novel is finally done and out on Amazon. At 665 pages (181k words), this is the largest book I’ve written to date. It is currently out on eBook on Kindle Unlimited only while I work on the paperback.
How did I come up with the idea of a pet fish? I asked a few kids what pet would be cool to have around you all the time. Asking at the aquarium might’ve caused a bias in this answer. But then I wouldn’t have the fun chaos of that answer in the story.
If you’ve read it, I’d appreciate any rating or review on the store to help boost its visibility.
If you did, and are looking for more parenting progression stories, I highly recommend Apocalypse Parenting series. It’s also available on audiobook.
Another story available for free on RoyalRoad called Adam vs the Apocalypse. “What is true power, if not that which can protect those who need protection?” Such a great tagline. You can read more here.
I started this journey of writing about a parent and progression for fun, and realizing how it’s a growing market on Webtoon, Royal Road, Amazon, etc. Through this, I’ve met other authors and readers who actually want to read this whole “take the family with me on the fantasy” ride. Because of that, I’ve started a database and will work on it when I’m not in the middle of a book launch. You can check it out on the homepage or follow the “Read full story” button below. Feel free to toss recommendations!

Are you looking for more books where the family goes on an adventure, but where the main character isn’t in high school? I’ve been reading more works like that and wanted to start creating a database for it for other readers who would like similar works. Think of families that stick through it all, no matter what. If you can think of more, please leave …
Last note, writing updates. Thedre 3 got over 30k words drafted during February, and it was garbage. Like exposition dump. But one person’s trash is another person’s treasure, and that exposition draft helped me reconnect with the story. I went back to the story and worked on building out my character/novel bible to flesh it out better and fix the pacing issues. Removed some unnecessary characters and brought forward existing ones. I’m hoping to jump back into that project soon. Once the launch is done for Honey, I’ve Leveled the Kids, I will go over Thedre’s outline, and the next Sunset monster/world one more time too.
Thanks for reading and supporting my works, I hope you enjoy my latest book.
