Whenever I get too pedagogical about my own style, I get the uncanny feeling one gets when explaining a joke, which usually turns something funny into something dull. Which is weird, considering I consume a lot of pedagogical fashion content from people who are incredibly insightful and thoughtful. And I find them inspiring. But I guess teaching style is not something I do particularly well.
Which makes me question my role here. If you are not helping your readers, what’s the point?
