If you know me at all, you know that I love romantasy and you know that I have been a reader of the world of Sarah J Maas since the Throne of Glass Books( so let’s say 2016 ish) .
I have been waiting for the next installment of the ACOTAR series for YEARS. We finally got the titles and the blurbs for the next two books that are out in October and January respectively. I made an executive decision to only re read these two books, and not everything like the whole fandom is doing. Which is crazy. That’s 11 books and over 10k pages in 2 months and …I have better books to read.
But I’ll re-read these two . Mainly because they contain all the info I need and they are indeed…my least two favorites so I personally need a refresher. So that project will commence soon.
But that news led me to today’s podcast episode
On today’s episode, I am talking about alternatives to ACOTAR. Because despite what the internet will have you thinking, there are other romantasy books out there. I have a list of books that I never seen talked about half as much, and I want to share them. This list is diverse. Because…we are supposed to be reading diversely. RIGHT?
