Why I Decided To Go Back To School

Welcome to the second half of the year.

The first six months of 2026 were a lot but foundational. We were building out the advisor division from scratch, recording the podcast in five different cities, buying properties, and trying to build enough systems into the business that I could eventually stop feeling like I was living entirely inside the engine. On top of that, a war decided to break out that massively affected Dubai and thus some of our operations and somewhere in the middle of all of that, I also applied for a masters degree 😅

That was not in the plans for 2026 when I was planning in 2025 but this year a lot of my conversations have been centered around going deep rather than wide. About mastery as the leading indicator for wealth building and there is a specific area of knowledge I want to go very deep in. I don’t believe you need school for mastery for many industries in today’s day and age. I certainly don’t ‘need’ it but there’s always something about being in the room with the thought leaders of a topic you’re passionate about.

I will share more as things develop and have dropped a vlog below on my initial thoughts in January 2026. But even with what I have shared here, I hope it gives you permission to go after whatever it is that builds you towards your biggest asset, which is always yourself. You are never too old. It is never too late.
