I Don’t Look at the Numbers ($)

Every week for paid subscribers, I share a meditation and short exercise to help you navigate a specific behavior in the way of your goals.

This week’s focus is the avoidance of money.

For example:

• The envelope has been on the counter for three days. You know what it is.

• Your thumb goes toward the banking app and swipes past it. Faster than a decision.

• You have a rough idea of the number and you’ve been careful not to make it exact.

• You think about money constantly and look at it almost never.

• You’d describe yourself as bad with money. You’ve never actually checked.

• Someone asks how you’re doing financially and you answer honestly: you don’t know.
