Labyrinthia Mythweaver · Tales from the Labyrinth

Every seaside town sings shanties.

Most are about storms, hard work, and bringing home a good catch…

The fishermen of Isinglass have... slightly different priorities.

Edmund and Mercy have reservations about their fishy nocturnal visitors...

But the townsfolk insist the Deep Ones aren't nearly as frightening as outsiders claim. Certainly not when they keep the sails full, the ships afloat, and the catch plentiful.

Perhaps it's best not to ask too many questions about where the fish comes from.

Or why so many of the townsfolk wear hooded robes after sunset…

They are blasphemous fish-frogs

Of nameless design.

Stay away

From the Deep Ones!

Run

If you smell brine!

They are dangerous beings,

That much is quite true...

But they always bring fish,

Maybe a squid or two!

But the thing

You should know is...

We get along well!

In the Order

Of Dagon,

We know

Where they dwell!

In the Deep!

In the Deep!

Down where

The Old Dreamer sleeps!

So we pull up our hood,

And He always makes good—

Great Cthulhu,

The God of the Deep!

In the Deep!

We all take

Midnight swims...

They're good

For aching knees!

But if you hear

Some chanting...

It's only the breeze!

They may look

A bit odd...

Don't you judge

By the scales!

They fill up our nets,

And they fill up our sails!

But the thing

You should know is...

We get along well!

In the Order

Of Dagon,

We know

Where they dwell!

In the Deep!

In the Deep!

Down where

The Old Dreamer sleeps!

So we pull up our hood,

And He always makes good—

Great Cthulhu,

The God of the Deep!

In the Deep!

So if you two

Are ready...

To join

Our Lord here.

Don a cloak,

And give fealty.

There's nothing

To fear.

Then the Deep Ones

Will know...

That you're one

Of our flock.

And then at your door they

Will no longer knock.

Join us!

Join us!

Join us!

Join us!

But the thing

You should know is...

We get along well!

In the Order

Of Dagon,

We know

Where they dwell!

In the Deep!

In the Deep!

Down where

The Old Dreamer sleeps!

So we pull up our hood,

And He always makes good—

Great Cthulhu,

The God of the Deep!

In the Deep!

In the Deep!

In the Deep!

Down where

The Old Dreamer sleeps!

So we pull up our hood,

And He always makes good—

Great Cthulhu,

The God of the Deep!

In the Deep!

In the Deep!!

Welcome to Isinglass.

The seafood is excellent.

Please don't ask why.
