short piano piece. in my 'space & nostalgia' series

yet another short piano piece

"Lost in Space, Episode III"solo piano piece

(very) short piano piece, closer to Jazz than contemporary classic this time ;-)

piano piece written based on the idea of spreading a cluster / building a chord from a melody.with a 'lost between dimensions' sci-fi movie vibe ;-)

short piano piece .. might've been listening to too much Ravel, Debussy, Scriabin, Messiaen .. ? ;-)

version with piano+strings sound of "Climbing"

"Climbing", imagine a scene, cold clear air, snowy mountain. Two climbing attempts, the 1st gets to a summit, but not THE summit, have to go back down, took too long. The 2nd, the way is known, the climb is faster, get past the 1st summit, a bit higher even .. then crumbling rocks and the fall .. knocked out .. but safe and sound after all ! ;-)

very vocal arrangement on Gaudete

harpsichord arpeggios (pianoteq in logic pro) tuned in the Rameau temperament

Adeste Fideles in minor .. Hungarian minor in fact !! ;-)

short 'jazzy; piano piece, trying out harmonizing with 2nds (and their inversion 7ths), some 4ths and 5ths harmo .. plus std stuff too ;-)

playing with strings sound on keyboard + Bartok's idea of 'mixed major and minor' idea

short 5 chords progression in 31-EDO scale ('microtonal'), voice + electric piano

vocal arrangement on Durga Pahimam (well ok, 3 ideas, put one after the other hehe)

'lost in between two dimensions / space' kind of piece, testing out the sounds in the Alchemy module in Logic Pro

trying to see what I can come up using some of the ideas from Sacre du Printemps

a little piano piece, trying out (again) chords superposition

12 voices (me), for F chord over Bb chord. Single voice sound vs all voices demo.

short piece for solo piano.

very short test of groupings of 3 or 5 sixteenth notes

having fun with 3 against 2 and 5 against 2 rhythms .. (quintuplets have accents on 1 and 4) the fun here is to try to keep counting 1,2,3,4 ;-

a short piano piece, loose time, based in part on opposing motion / superimposed chords

a 'new age' piece for harp, guitar(s), marimba, alto sax, clarinet, flute

Trying my hand at brass ensemble piece

short keyboard piece. (piano + organ)Triads over downward chromatically moving bass, full triads eventually replace bass

A short moody, slow piano piece

a little new agey thing for the upcoming Automn

"Canicule", something I wrote, a blues, during one of the last heatwaves we had here.Just 2x12bars of the head / melody.

a little bit of Mary Had a Little lamb, but the lamb is schizophrenic (dual personality) .. or when the harmony goes all over the place without following the melody's implied harmony ;-)

this was a drawing on Facebook of farmers "plowing" music ;-)

short arrangement on Ra Ma Da Sa,electric piano and "flute" + voices accompaniment

another short composition based on repeating short patterns superimposed.5/8 time, turns into 3/3

working from home, this is the construction noise that I hear right now !!!

a short re-harmonization of the Frere Jacques melody

playing with 'variations' on a short sequence

a short 'gregorian' type melody, repeating while building up harmony

a 12 notes chord (not actually 12 unique notes, some dups at octaves)my voice and whistling ! ;-)

a non-completed arrangement on the jazz piece blue In Green

What would some English text written with the Michela stenography "piano like" keyboard actually sound like if played on a MIDI keyboard ?? Here is a short sample: "A cer-tain King ma-king one day"

a short keyboard arrangement / re-harmonization of Green Dolphin Street (played by a non pianist ;-) )

a quick "Bonne Fete" (happy birthday) chord

slowed down (half speed) version of the little Giant Steps experiment I tried (see "Not Giant Steps")

"Not Giant Steps", or Giant Steps melodic line with different intervals and completely different harmony

a few bars of Coltrane's Countdown, doing 'just intonation' the wrong way .. on purpose, to show the effect of "harmonic slip" four 1st bars, normal eight bars, "just intonation" (+-), creating harmonic slip again, different instrument hear how much we 'slipped': two chords show how much we 'got out of tune' hear the (subtle) difference between standard tuning of the chord and just intonation

quick improved electro bass line, added a Logic Pro drums track: 30secs fun

playing around with sounds from the Surge synth plugin .. and a non conventional scale (still on the 12 tones normal keyboard though)
