I’m Sean Harrison, founder of Kruxia, a small technology consultancy that builds cloud software. This newsletter is where I’ll be writing about what we’re building, what we’re learning, and what we think matters in the intersection of AI, software engineering, infrastructure, and engineering leadership.

Kruxia helps organizations design and build cloud software systems. It’s given us a front-row seat to the problems teams face when they try to run AI workloads in production: invisible costs, fragile pipelines, and infrastructure that takes longer to operate than the applications it supports.

That experience led us to build Kruxia Flow — an open-source durable workflow engine for AI applications. It’s written in Rust, backed by PostgreSQL, ships as a single 7.5MB binary, and includes built-in LLM cost tracking that no other workflow engine offers. You can learn more at kruxiaflow.com.
