Brad Lomenick loves Jesus, leadership, and leaders. Those three passions have shaped a career spent developing, connecting, and convening influential people. Today, his Kingdom Superpower looks remarkably simple: he sees people, draws out their gold, and creates spaces where meaningful relationships can foster impact.
1. Be interested, not interesting. Brad believes influence grows from curiosity. Walk into the room asking questions, listening closely, and paying attention rather than trying to prove you belong. As he puts it:
“You become interesting by being interested.”
2. Become a courage injector and gold extractor. Encouragement injects courage into another person, while relational intelligence helps us recognize what God has placed inside them. Brad describes it beautifully:
“You’re injecting somebody with courage … but you’re also calling out the things in them that are true.”
3. Relational intelligence matters more as technology grows. Brad sees a looming paradox: AI can reduce our need to interact while people are increasingly hungry for friendship and community. His response is memorable:
“In an age of AI, we need more RI [Relational Intelligence].”
Brad grew up in small-town Oklahoma with church woven into everyday life. At the University of Oklahoma, involvement with Young Life deepened his understanding of grace and helped establish his path as a follower of Jesus. His career eventually placed him near leadership voices such as John Maxwell, and at the helm of Catalyst, where he helped convene thousands of leaders.
Then his assignment changed.
Instead of gathering thousands, Brad began curating tens through intimate, highly intentional gatherings. After roughly 60 gatherings over seven to nine years, he has learned to create what he calls “organically structured” environments: shared experiences, vulnerable conversations, spiritual moments, and enough freedom to read the room and follow where God may be leading.
Brad is creating conditions where high capacity leaders can truly encounter one another and impact the world.
Brad serves high-capacity leaders, pastors, marketplace leaders, entrepreneurs, creatives, and movement makers. He sees leadership as influence, and connection as stewardship.
His distinction between networking and connecting is crucial. Networking can reduce people to transactions. Connecting requires understanding them first. Brad’s approach honors the person before considering what they can accomplish.
His H3 framework summarizes the kind of leaders he hopes to cultivate:
“Be humble, stay hungry, always hustle.”
Humility keeps leadership grounded, hunger keeps leaders teachable, and hustle turns calling into action.
Brad’s vision for the next decade is laser-focused: identify, know, convene, connect, and release roughly 1,000 of America’s most strategic and influential leaders.
“I didn’t go from a big vision to a small vision,” Brad explains. “I went from a big vision to a different vision … that I would argue is even bigger.”
