WWA Jade Ring Contest is now open! Get your work read by the recipient of the Ohio Women Making a Difference Award, Cathy Cultice Lentes; winner of the Florida Humanities Council’s Lifetime Achievement Award for Writing, Janet Burroway; and/or National Book Award finalist, Sandra Scofield. Optional feedback for additional fee. Deadline: Aug 1, 2026
Laid-back Feedback
Keep your writing momentum moving forward during the summer months with this "lower commitment" option than a full Roundtable series—to receive feedback from Director, Kim Suhr, and a couple other Red Oak writers. No sending work ahead of time. No written feedback afterwards. Just the chance to read your work aloud and receive verbal feedback from keen-eyed writers. Register for each session separately. Space is limited. We may add dates if the waitlist warrants it.
